Join the Partnership for the Public Good as Buffalo crowns its second Shakespearean Idol. Civic leaders will compete for the prize before three all-star judges: Colin Dabkowski, arts critic for the Buffalo News; Laurie Dean Torrell, executive director at Just Buffalo Literary Center; and Drew Kahn, professor of Theater at Buffalo State College.

Audience members will cast their votes to crown this year's Shakespearean Idol choosing among contestants such as: Maria Whyte, commissioner of Erie County's Department of Environment & Planning; George Arthur, political legend; and Sarah Bishop of Buffalo First and Tim Herzog of Flying Bison performing together.

Doors open at 7pm, and the contest starts promptly at 7:30pm. After the contest, the audience is invited to stay for drinks and light dessert.
