Open Buffalo seeks to provide as much information as possible for the community at large regarding the coronavirus pandemic. This page will be updated as new resources are identified.
As the world grapples with the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, our community on the East Side of Buffalo is suffering from alarming rates of infection, due to longstanding inequities.
Open Buffalo's goal is that every Western New Yorker have access to a clean, sustainable face mask!
A donation of $2.50 will put a washable/reusable cloth face covering in the hands of one of our neighbors in need! We are both carrying out pop-up mask distribution drives and supplying batches of masks to community partners. Thanks to the loving donations of several community members, we have been able to distribute more than 4,000 free face masks to increase the resiliency of our neighbors in need so far (as of May 13, 2020). Please consider giving to this campaign to keep our efforts going.
