Mentoring

Sharing a bit of yourself for the next generation of leaders.

If you have experience in community building, have a desire to impart the wisdom you have acquired, and an interest in guiding an upcoming commmunity leader, then becoming a mentor may be just the right way to get involved.

Each participant accepted into one of Open Buffalo's Leadership Development programs is assigned a mentor to help them along their journey to community leadership.  Ideal mentors are willing to contribute a bit of their time and can commit to face-to-face meetings, communicating via email/phone/text, and look for opportunities to introduce their mentee to their networks as appropriate.  Becoming a mentor is a rewarding way to pay it forward.

Contact our Training & Movement Building Coordinator today at megan@openbuffalo.org to learn about our mentor application process.
