Serve New York VISTA is currently accepting RFP’s for AmeriCorps VISTA members starting in July 2016 and August 2016.
AmeriCorps VISTA members serve a one-year term at their prospective host-sites. Members provide behind-the-scenes, indirect service to build programs and increase agency capacity. Members may write grants, work on fundraising initiatives, develop policies and procedures, recruit and manage volunteers, develop programs/curriculums, and provide outreach on behalf of their host sites.
