Who: You! Are you interested in learning if the Emerging Leaders program is right fit for you? Are you ready to unlock your changemaking potential? Do you want to learn how to make an impact in your community and strengthen your leadership skills? Do you want to meet other folks interested in progressive community change work?
What: Open Buffalo will host a virtual session in which you can speak with Emerging Leaders alumni and OB staff about the program. Emerging Leaders is a dynamic four-month experience that empowers participants with the skills, networks, and opportunities to effect meaningful change in their communities.
Why: These uncertain times show it is more important than ever that we continue to push forward a vision of an equitable and sustainable society where justice triumphs over exploitation. Emerging Leaders is the ONLY local program that recruits people directly impacted by poverty and racism to enter careers and positions of leadership where they can address injustice and inequality to improve the quality of life in this community.
When: Thursday, April 2nd from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Where: Online using Zoom technology. Pre-registration required to receive Zoom link by contacting Megan Connelly at megan@openbuffalo.org
