Restoring Justice in Buffalo Public Schools

Five years after an historic Code of Conduct policy was adopted, the implementation of this policy leaves a lot to be desired. The teachers have not received the support needed to implement restorative practices, the parents are still reeling from the continued disproportionate push out of our students, and the students are left without the supports and interventions that would keep them safe and in school.
Join Citizen Action, The Advancement Project, and the Alliance for Quality Education for a conversation about what needs to happen in order to ensure that all schools become spaces where it is a joy to teach and to learn.
School climate is the plate that education is built on.
