In today's political climate, it is increasingly more critical that we come together to envision and celebrate our shared vision for a just and vibrant economy. Our new economy must be founded on worker's rights, responsible management of resources, democratic-decision making, sacredness, the arts, and equity for all people! What better time to celebrate then on May Day -- an international holiday honoring working folks?!
This year, there will be two day-long puppet-making workshops on April 23 and 30 -- in which community members bring this regenerative economy to life -- followed by a parade, rally, and skate party on Sunday, May 7. Folks from all walks of life are invited to participate, and all events are free and open to the public.
