Bid to Build is a benefit auction that supports The Foundry's overall mission and programming. The event includes:

• live and silent auction of handmade items created at The Foundry
• workshop tours and a chance to meet the makers
• music and glass blowing performances
• food and drinks

This item is one of the wonderful handmade items that will be part of the live auction. It is a reproduction of a Federal Style Boston Two Part Mahogany Counting House Bookshelf, made by one of our talented woodshop supervisors, Jim Lamp. It is made of Honduran mahogany, will have glass window panes, is roughly seven feet in height, and durable enough to last several generations. The bookshelf would be priced at $7,000+ in a gallery, so come on down and bid on it at the auction!
