From our friends at Citizen Action of WNY:
Anti-Racism in Buffalo Workshop
Join us Saturday, June 22nd at 10:00 a.m. for Anti-Racism in Buffalo, at the Isaias Gonzalez-Soto Branch Library! (280 Porter Ave.)
People define racism as individual, overt and intentional but modern forms of racial discrimination are often systemic and hidden. Politicians, employers and public administrators have all learned to use codes for the groups they target.
During our Racial Justice Workshop, we will discuss the different levels of racism, anti-racism, diversity and how to create change for our local communities.
This event is open to the public. Lunch and childcare will be provided.
