Involve the youth, the elders and all the people of the region!

Set priorities to shift to renewable energy, and preserve and protect our water and bioregion.

YOUTH PETITION: 
Declare and Confront the Climate Emergency !
WE the undersigned, the youth of Western New York,

call on the Erie County Legislature and the Buffalo Common Council to officially declare a Climate Emergency

and take strong, decisive action in pulling us back from  devastating climate instability.

We urge you to dramatically accelerate the transition from fossil fuels to renewable energy

through the  creation of green jobs and by avoiding legislative and bureaucratic impediments to this goal.

The future of our environment and our communities depends on our actions.

We urge you to push this initiative forward with urgency, as our planet is on fire and our future is in doubt.
