October marks 10 years since NYS public education won the lawsuit that entitled school districts to certain amounts of money.
Ten years since and school districts, like Buffalo, are still owed. That's 10 years of short changing students.
Buffalo and the rest of the state are demanding that NYS do what's right. Join us!

Need bike riders for a trip to Albany, This bike ride is part of the "Campaign For Fiscal Equity".The purpose of the bike ride is to collect bills from the school districts along the Erie Canal Trail. The bills represent the amount of funds NYS owes these districts. We plan to start with a nice core of riders leaving Buffalo and adding riders as we go through the state to Albany. We will leave Buffalo on Thursday, October 6, arriving in Schenectady on Columbus Day. Riders will be meeting the walkers from NY City and continue into Albany on Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2016. At the rally in Albany on Tuesday, the bills from downstate and upstate will be presented to NYS.
