Please Join Us for the First Annual Self-Advocacy Leadership Forum for Erie and Niagara Counties!
The forum is a collaboration of the Center for Self Advocacy, Self-Advocates of New York State, and Open Buffalo’s Democracy Fellows Program
When: Saturday October 27th 2018 from 12PM-4PM
Where: The North Buffalo Community Center at 203 Sanders Rd, Buffalo, NY 14216
Accessible by the 11 and 25 buses!
This event is free and open to all self-advocates, people with disabilities, and ALL grassroots activists interested in making change in Buffalo-Niagara around access to:
- Transportation
- Housing
- Jobs
- Education
Activists and advocates will share struggles around these issues and discuss ways to collaborate.
Lunch will be served! Artists and performers will join in the dialogue through music, poetry, painting, and storytelling.
