END AIDS BY 2020
"It's time to use our imaginations and let everyone know that Getting to Zero is a must." - Linda Mafu, World AIDS Day director
Understanding the connections between poverty, racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism, and all other oppressions increases the vulnerablity of certain social groups to HIV/AIDS. Many of which are 15-24 years old who by adulthood 50% will obtain an STI (sexually transmitted infection).
#PrEP, an anti-HIV drug keeps your status negative if taken once a day however it only prevents HIV. So getting tested, seeking treatment, and educating one another can help us become safer and support those who have/will contract an STI.
