Emerging Leaders Class of 2016

Carolyn is currently in her second year as an AmeriCorps VISTA at a local non-profit in the city of Buffalo. Originally from Rochester, NY, Carolyn completed her undergraduate degree at the University at Buffalo in spring 2015. With a passion for racial justice and an interest in many interconnected issue areas of social justice, she is excited to delve deeper into activism and organizing. Through the Emerging Leaders program, she hopes to gain skills and tools in community organizing to further advocate, support, and empower individuals and communities to effect systemic and social change.
