Emerging Leaders Class of 2016

Danielle Johnson has a deep and sincere passion and commitment to social justice, serving as Co-Chair of Open Buffalo's Justice and Opportunity Table and Chair of VOICE-Buffalo's Criminal Justice Task Force. Additionally, Danielle serves as Chair of Christian Education Ministries and Sunday School Teacher at Pilgrim St. Luke's & El Nuevo Camino church. Danielle also works as an academic advisor in the Daniel Acker Scholars Program at the University at Buffalo (UB). Danielle earned her PhD in Higher Education from UB, her MS in Student Personnel Administration from Buffalo State College, and her BS in Humanities from Clarkson University. After graduating from the Emerging Leaders Program, Danielle will feel even more prepared to fight and advocate for social justice, and has made a lifelong commitment to do so.
