Emerging Leaders Class of 2016

Katie Blakely is currently in the final year of the Master of Social Work program at the University at Buffalo, where she focuses on community social work, gender equity, policy analysis, and advocacy. She is passionate about reproductive justice, and proudly advocates for victims of sexual assault, fights for economic opportunities for women and girls, and promotes access to quality, affordable, full-spectrum reproductive health care for all.  Katie is excited to participate in the Emerging Leaders program and learn more skills to effectively organize for change in Western New York.
