Sara Ali
Class of 2016
Sara Ali is a proud second-generation immigrant of Middle Eastern decent. She is a freelance journalist who aspires to operate and manage her own multimedia company. She wants to focus her work on the refugee and immigrant communities and has worked closely with these communities during her time as the Editor in Chief of Karibu News, the first and only multilingual and multicultural newspaper in Buffalo. Her goal is to serve New Americans by providing them with a platform where they can share their stories and experiences by creating documentaries and writing articles. She is also an animal lover and plans to incorporate animal activism in her work.
