Sydney Neasman is a Buffalo native who was born and raised on the West Side. She is a proud mother of two children, ages 10 and 1, and has worked for the Buffalo Board of Education for the last 10 years in various schools across the city. Neasman graduated from Erie Community College, with a background in both social work and business, and is currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in Business from the University at Buffalo. She is looking forward to gaining all of the skills, information, and relationships that she is obtaining through the Emerging Leaders program.
Neasman hopes to be able to apply her knowledge and resources to help bridge the gap and break the cycle of poverty in Buffalo. With the firm belief that "everyone deserves a seat at the table," she plans to be able to create several opportunities in the future for both children and adults that will give them the confidence and skills needed to be successful in any venture that they pursue.
