Emerging Leaders Class of 2017

Alexis Cartwright is an environmental studies and African-American studies major at the University at Buffalo. She is also a co-founder of Hip Hop Co-op. She hopes to use the skills learned from the Emerging Leaders program to help end environmental injustice in the city of Buffalo and help solve social justice problems through the arts.
