Leah Angel Daniel is an educator, writer, visionary, author, inspirational speaker and mentor who is the living epitome of the phrase, “I don't look like what I have been through.” As a former foster care youth, Daniel discovered at an early age that there would always be an opportunity to turn a negative situation into a positive outcome.
Daniel currently serves as an Adjunct English Instructor at the Buffalo Educational Opportunity Center, a per-diem Intensive Preventive Social Worker at Gateway-Longview, a Parent Liaison for Say Yes Buffalo, and also as an educational trainer (teaching a new curriculum “Youth Thrive” for Rutgers University in Newark, NJ). She is also currently pursuing a doctoral degree at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. Daniel is the founder of Words Have Wings, an organization that inspires “Healing through Writing” and encourages at-risk populations to express and empower themselves through written word, while also promoting healthy self-image and mental health awareness.
