Lukia Costello is an artist and entrepreneur with over 13 years of experience in visual storytelling. An international editorial and documentary photographer, her work has been sought by such entities as the India-US Transplant Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Boys and Girls Club of Western New York and Jericho Road Community Health Center. In 2012, Costello was awarded a New York State Council on the Arts Individual Artist Commission for her Newcomer series showcasing beautiful faces of Buffalo’s refugee community.
Costello’s work is driven by a dedication to community building and a deep belief that every person is beautiful and, at the core, we are all the same.
