Jalonda Hill
Class of 2018
Jalonda Hill is the Communications and Outreach Specialist at the Partnership for the Public Good. She is also the founder of Colored Girls Bike Too; PPG’s newest partner initiative which seeks to normalize biking among women of color in marginalized communities. Originally from Rochester, New York, Jalonda holds a BA in psychology and a minor in sociology from the University at Buffalo, and an AS in communications from Monroe Community College. Prior to her position at PPG, Jalonda interned at the Division of Citizen Services at City Hall, where she created a proposal to restore the Broadway Fillmore district in the city of Buffalo. As a study abroad, student at the University at Ghana she also worked as a Community Outreach Specialist at Hopeline Institute in Accra, Ghana; assisting marginalized communities with small business loans, budgeting, and saving. Passionate about criminal justice reform and racial justice, Jalonda became a researcher in the SBI legal Research program at University at Buffalo. There, she furthered her interests in criminal justice reform and racial justice by researching police brutality in the city of Buffalo.
