Emerging Leaders Class of 2018

Mike Brown is a South Buffalo native and serves on the University at Buffalo Council where he studies political science, computer science, and urban planning. He focuses on how cities can use data and technology to improve public services, open government, and quality of life. Currently leading Code for Buffalo, Brown became a 2018 Emerging Leader to acquire the skills needed to organize the civic technology community and collaborate with local partners on projects for the public good.
