Emerging Leaders Class of 2020

Fredia Cowart is a high school Special Education teacher and has been in the educational field for almost 10 years. She is passionate about helping her community and is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of those around her. As a mentor, community volunteer, and lifelong learner, Fredia believes everyone has the ability to inspire and bring about change in their community. Fredia attended Buffalo State College and received a Bachelor’s degree in English Education. She also attended Niagara University and received a Master’s degree in Literacy and Special Education. Fredia is married with two beautiful children.
