Emerging Leaders Class of 2020

Marissa Jackson currently serves as City Year Buffalo's People and Operations Director. She creates the strategy for the site, supports AmeriCorps members and staff members through service at four charter schools in Buffalo and plans, facilitates and executes Learning and Development days. Marissa has been with City Year for the past eight years, serving six years in City Year Los Angeles and two years with City Year Buffalo during their start up and founding year. She attended Hope College in Holland, Michigan, obtaining a degree in Social Work and a minor in Dance.
