Emerging Leaders Class of 2021

Aleshia Transou started her educational journey by obtaining an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from Erie Community College. She furthered her learning by obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Villa Maria College. Before beginning her role as Team Lead at NY Project Hope under the direction of Buffalo Urban League, Aleshia was a Program Coordinator at Family Help Center, providing food, clothing, and basic household needs for at-risk families. Outside of ambitiously attacking her career path, Aleshia enjoys swimming, painting and traveling with her two children.
