Class of 2024
Arthur ‘Artie’ Springs is Project Superintendent for R&P Oak Hill Building Company and owner of Springs Mill Contracting and Consulting, an MBE/DBE construction management firm based in Buffalo, N.Y.
A graduate of Buffalo Public Schools, he holds an A.A.S degree from SUNY College in construction project management and civil engineering.
With a transformative gift and calling to create jobs, housing and entrepreneurial opportunities to improve the quality of life for East Buffalo residents, Artie’s goal is to advance his career to Commercial Developer.
His achievements include constructing the newest, largest state-of-the-art facility for the homeless, while also providing shelter for homeless veterans. In addition, Artie has constructed over 110 housing units for the C.A.O of WNY and Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority (BMHA), and worked on renovation projects in schools, hotels and churches with a renowned historical legacy in African American heritage.
Married to Tennille Springs, in his spare time he enjoys family, camping, boating, traveling, fishing, motorcycles, sports cars, music and celebrating this remarkable life we’ve all been blessed with.
