Are you resolved to make a difference in 2018? Apply today to become a Champion for Change with One Region Forward!
Through a series of six workshops, homework, and teamwork over three months, Champions for Change learn how to turn ideas into action with practical tools, knowledge, and leadership skills.
Based on a match of talents and passions, Champions and University at Buffalo students will be placed in action planning teams. Champions also receive technical support through faculty mentors in collaboration with UB’s School of Architecture and Planning, Blackstone LaunchPad’s social entrepreneurship program, It Takes A Village Action Organization, and Groundwork Buffalo. Projects that align with Groundwork Buffo’s mission to regenerate vacant lots may be eligible for support beyond May 2018 (see linked flyer).
To apply, first download and review the Champions for Change Overview & Application Guide, and then apply online. For more information about the program, check out http://www.oneregionforward.org/citizen-planning-school/2018-champions-for-change/ .
Applications are due by January 26, 2018. Early applications will be given special consideration.
