Nate Gulley, Open Buffalo Director of Civic Capacity, leads a community organizing strategy workshop at the Citizen Planning School.
On Saturday, April 18, Open Buffalo presented an “Organizing for Change” workshop at One Region Forward’s Citizen Planning School, on the University at Buffalo’s South Campus. Working with a group of about 40 grassroots activists and emerging leaders, Open Buffalo's Director of Civic Capacity, Nate Gulley, gave a presentation on how to create and use public narratives in campaigns for social change. Participants learned how to ask questions about their campaigns that will enable them to organize the right people, identify resources and power available to them, and determine the best and most achievable outcome for a campaign.
