We are so proud of the community work being done by Democracy Fellow Michael Zak, recently featured on The Public Good.
Zak took the time to discuss his fellowship project, curriculum development for a youth training program on Buffalo's East Side. With the organization he co-founded, Gro-Operative, Zak is creating a nine-month curriculum in cooperative economics, job education, and vertical farming/hydroponics to build partnerships and professional development with the local community.
