Hart Receives Women in Leadership Recognition

This morning, Open Buffalo Executive Director Franchelle Hart appeared on "AM Buffalo" on Channel 7 WKBW-TV as the August "Women in Leadership” honoree. During the show, Hart and host Linda Pellegrino discussed: Open Buffalo’s origins; our first two years of operation; and key programs and initiatives, including the Emerging Leaders program.
The Women in Leadership recognition is given out every month thanks to a partnership between the Buffalo Niagara Chapter of New State Women, Inc. and Channel 7 WKBW-TV. It that honors women in Buffalo and Western New York work to make a better Buffalo better. According to program coordinators, “Each month throughout the year we honor a woman who has exhibited leadership, enterprise and excellence in their business career and personal life.”
