A message from Open Buffalo in the wake of anti-Black mass murder in Jacksonville

My heart aches for the families in Jacksonville. I am so incredibly sorry to see you experience the same hate-motivated violence that we have experienced in Buffalo. My prayer is that we will develop a cross-national movement of people and organizations from Buffalo to Florida working to dismantle white supremacy.
I know for a fact, the rise in hate speech and the open attack on Black history teaching is fanning the flames of white nationalism and supremacy. keeping communities in your thoughts isn’t enough. Open Buffalo reaffirms our commitment to teaching anti-racism, love, and justice.
