Our community is facing a critical environmental issue, and we need your help to raise awareness and take action.
The Delavan-Grider area of Buffalo has a legacy of contamination from manufacturing facilities like General Motors and American Axle.
PCBs have leaked into local creeks, and despite orders to remediate the site, progress has been slow and limited. With only 5 out of 40 acres covered so far, residents are worried about the potential health effects of the ongoing contamination.
We are collaborating with a professor and Environmental Science Ph.D. to test the soil of homes within a half-mile radius of the previous General Motors and American Axel Site; in labs at Buffalo State University.
If you know anyone that can benefit, share this link to sign up for a FREE soil testing!
