Youth Action Explores Job Readiness and Career Ambition

Open Buffalo’s Youth Action team spent last Sunday learning how make their resumes more appealing to employers. They discussed how cover letters summarize their resumes. They also went through what passion means to them and how it correlates with the job or career they will obtain in the future. Our Facilitator, Jasmine Westbrook of Northland Workforce Training Center, emphasized that when your passion strongly drives you, then your everyday job duties feel less like an obligation and less of a burden.
