PPG 2015 Agenda Boosts Open Buffalo CampaignsBack >
January 16, 2015
Partnership for the Public Good (a Buffalo-based think tank and Open Buffalo partner) unveiled today its ambitious and diversified 2015 Community Agenda. Among other community-crucial subjects, public safety, environmental health, and economic justice made the list. In accordance with this agenda, selected democratically by its 178 members, PPG will lend focused research support to 11 community-driven policy reform projects in the coming year.
Open Buffalo is proud to have had two of its key 2015 initiatives voted to PPG's list -- Community-Oriented Policing of the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority and High Road Economic Development at the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus. The comprehensive research reports and policy analyses that PPG will contribute to the Innovation Lab in the coming year will be invaluable to Open Buffalo's collaborative effort to usher in a more just and equitable Queen City.
