Gregory Glover is a 2023 Emerging Leaders graduate and a current Climate Justice Fellow for Open Buffalo. In this position, he is responsible for soil sampling, community organizing, and setting up/attending meetings with various community groups and politicians.
Greg was born on June 21,1969 to Irvin Watson & Jacquline M. Glover in Buffalo, NY at Deaconess Hospital. The first house he lived in was on Best Street (between Humboldt & Jefferson). He left Buffalo in 1972 and moved back in February 1979. He went to Burgard Vocational High School, attended Erie Community College (City Campus) and Buffalo State University (formerly known as Buffalo State College).
Greg served as the co-host of the #1 sports show for over 15 years with Host Patrick Smith (The Mighty Oba of sports) on radio station 1080AM from 1:00pm-2:00pm on Saturday afternoons.
His hobbies include washing and waxing his car, sports, playing spades, loves listening to music (old school R&B and Hip Hop), good conversation, a good laugh, chillin’ in Martin Luther King Jr. Park (when it’s warm), hanging with family and watching world news.
