A Democracy Fellowship offers an intensive, year-long program that empowers Buffalo/Niagara residents with the skills and resources required to drive organizaitons toward equity, inclusion, and long-term systems change.
Ideal candidates for the Democracy Fellow program include:
- Individuals who have completed the Emerging Leaders program and who have a vision for a community-based project to create a lasting impact in justice and/or equity in the Buffalo/Niagara region
- Individuals who have demonstrated commitment to the Buffalo/Niagara region, utilizing the skills they have attained through the Emerging Leaders program.
